When i start map-server it closes suddenly... can anyone tell me how to fix?? thx..

using athena?

first fix your

conf/map-athena.conf

this file in ip

and it's too closy

check your script file something on error

1) in nt os

go to start menu -> run -> cmd -> run map-server -> you can see error line

2) in 98, me

go to start menu -> run -> command -> run map-server -> you can see error line

sdata is in ur RO folder if u have Sakray kRO client installed!


for the map-server, check the grf-files.txt and see if the directories show where YOUR data.grf and sdata.grf is located in the same place as it shows in there, if not, change it

Hey... That Map Thing you Say i guess is from AThena Servers or Mod from Athena..
Kinda Hard to setup since you do not have any idea what map are there in your data.grf..
so.. you must do this in DOS MODE...
1) Execute your map.exe,
2) List down what part is missing..
3) Modify you Map-Athena.Conf
4) Comment out what you dont have or what is in the list?? (pretty safe at this point)
5) Save it.. and Repeat the Process....

and if by chance that this Athena of Yours still wont load or Run.. then kinda look for another
server... try to pay us a visit.....paalam.....

Your problem is not properly stated... if possible... mind to post a screen shot ? easier for us to help u out .... ^_^

i guess we all downloaded the same thing. you only have to follow darkchilds guide step by step. & you'll setup it right,
& ran your sever like the rest of us.
read & read the guide . . . be patient.
or you can take screen shots of the error ran at MSDOS so we can help you.
