Metal Gear Solid 1 - Hardware mode

For some reason MGS absolutely refuses to detect my graphics card and forces it into software mode. I have a GigaByte Geforce 6800 with the latest Nvidia drivers. I have even tried custom modded drivers but with no luck. I checked some of the log files for MGS and it DOES detect the card but it says that it cannot detect something or other about hardware that I'll post when I'm home. Does anybody know any patches or fixes?

Try other drivers. The game probably can't work with newer drivers since it is quite old.
