dbproxy does not work with the local ip.
put your internal ip ip or a dedicated.

Hi, thank you for your answer. But where i have to change the ip? Allready have changed all IPs in DB and ini's to 127.0.0.1

Ok, the DB-Proxy-Problem ist solved. Server seems to work fine , the only Problem now is the "Validating User" Problem. Is the any way to fix it without editing the source? :glare:

Ok, got it. Just created a new account, now Game starts correctly... :thumbup:

Ya, but your Client does not work as it should for me. No Stationary Weapons and vehicles did not work. Errorlog of client is full with cpp errors...

Jepp, but only with the buggy client from sdfsdf sdfsdf / Gamehinx...
Must find the lines in MetalKnightZeroServer-Source to change... But I wont give up. Need this Game for our Clan.

When client connecting 'Validating user(0)' error is shown.

Last night, a friend of mine asked me to build MKZ server.
Building server is not so difficult, but my client dosen't connect to server.
Client shows... Validating user(0)... I don't know why ^^;;
I am using holchan's server and client dowhloaded from this thread

@loveomg no problem. I know it is an issue with game server source code. Not sure exactly where though. One of those 2 will hopefully have an answer soon.

I jused the server from holchan,the client from gamehix and the Database-Files "mkz-db-backup" from DNCs Mega Mirror. When I create a new acc in the database the client starts without validating user problem. But Ingame the vehicles didnt work....

I could get a better look at it. Unfortunately I don't have the files available to view.

I noticed on page one passing MD5 password. You may want to import the password as MD5. Check if it is currently stored that way.
