I don't understand the i7 which isn't a gaming CPU with 2x 580's. But if the gimmicky "gaming' LAN card was free then who cares, you'll find out if it fits when you build it.

Yeah, those gimmicky lan cards dont actually do anything.. the only thing that will improve ping times and lag are faster connections, and better connections (I.E. having less hops from you to the source). If its free though.. why not I suppose?
