Hello, I need help. I use ubuntu 10.10 and when I type in terminal

sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client php5-mysql
sudo apt-get install ia32lib
sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient15-dev

I get this:

E: Unable to locate package mysql-server

I also need navicat9lite link anyone could give? Please help.

what should I do? I just got new pc and wanna make p-server. i7 16gb of ram, i installed vmware and ubuntu 10.10 now what? can't pass thru this

which one do you recommend? Also putting the server online GLOBALLY is hard? I have no experience at all with port opening/forwarding and those kinda stuff. Basically starting off from 0

alright I've downloaded linux 14.0 now updated fine, mysql installed fine as well but I get the same error when I try to install sudo apt-get install ia32lib
I'm using 64 bit version of linux

Another problem, can't install Navicat. I downloaded Navicat lite100 and when I try to open start navicat it opens in gedit . I try to open with run program but nothing happens.

then make sure you give navicat permissions in terminal.

you can create more than 1 user with permissions for navicat.

how do I give navicat permissions in terminal? I did download the wine tho.
