Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. You must export the model as a ASCII ".ase" file.
Make sure the ase file has the same name as the smd.
EG: "itws224.smd" would have the ase name "itws224.ase"
Delete the ".smd" file from pristontale. Then paste in the ".ase" file.
When pristontale starts up, it will automatically read the ase model file and convert it to smd.
I use the following settings for exporting weapon models:
