and when u guys say client, do u mean a3client.exe file, or all the files?

cos nothing is available nowadays. the only clients available for download is mania and ultimate.... cant find any others

@Vikram, Yes bro, client refers to a3client.exe file. Single file. All other files are already downloaded with A3 India or A3 mania.
I am using A3 India Client Files and changing and trying all the a3client.exe only.

I got the 219 client file after a hectic search and time.

i got the files for 219 server, i am also running login agent and zone agent of 562. So that should be 562 server?

I am okay with a server that lets me wear g10 armor. I dont want anything else. I wanna run around alone in hatrel killing things. Not gonna make it a pserver or whatever


so along with 219 server files + 562 login and zone agent, i am trying to use mania client? could you give tips? Also anyone from bangalore here?

i posted the screen shot of the server running. Could you have a look and see if anything is wrong? server doesn't give any error (does not mean server is okay) and when i try to connect using mania client it gets stuck on connecting.

I think the problem is the ports. cos the files state one port and the client might state another port. i've tried with many clients. Now i am gonna try with a chinese client

EDIT:

login agent (both 219 and 562) shows 0 users connected.

Devil, if its not too much trouble could we chat?

I actually deleted everything, uninstalled everything and again creating the server from the first step. Hope this time it should work, i am checking each and every point at every stage. OK, here is my details,
Like Vikram, my server files are also 219 with 562 LA & ZA/ZS.
I have the a3india client, a3 elements client, a3 korian client, chinese client, a3mania client. I have tried all the clients, but prob in login screen.
when i enter id and password, it shows Connecting for 10-15second and shows Disconnected with Server.

I have searched here all the forums, no forum has the definite solution for this prob. every forum is closed incomplete.
And i just found another problem while re-installing the whole setup.
MS SQL server is not permitting outside clients to access database through TCP/IP protocol. I have enabled every protocols from cliconfg.
And i have even added alias 127.0.0.1 for my instance. Still cant find out which part of config is stopping other clients to access database.

But my A3 Server is running like charm. Without any visible errors. Just check the thread started date. Still could not find the proper solution along with these A3 PROs.

Hey Kirs,

My problem is that it says Connecting and nothing after that.
My loginagent doesnt show any users connected when i open client, but for some reason loginserver's No. of zoneservers connected is +1 (total of 3)

my server is running fine. after HOURS of changing the settings (all the ini) one thing i found in mine was that the ports that are given were wrong. Do one thing, take a piece of paper, and one by one write down all the ports in all the ini files

Example:

zoneagent.ini

Zoneserver port =WXYZ

loginserver.ini

Zoneserver port= ABCD


check for faults like this, and make the ports same.


last thing u have to do is this. Check which port your client connects to.http://forum.ragezone.com/f98/a3-219-client-problem-939710/

the ports are coded in a weird way (i.e u have to hex ur client to read/write them)

Suppose the Port number in client is B9 0D 00 00.

This means that your port is decimal of 0DB9=3513 (take the second hex group put it infront of first hex group and u have your port number) Once you figure that out, you should be either able to change ini files to connect to this port (the loginserver and loginagent files) OR you can hex the client to connect to that port.




Can you please explain to me what " I have enabled every protocols from cliconfg. " means?

Lol Vikram, I am finding many B9 0D 00 00 in my A3Client.exe. Around 7-8 matches and should i need to change all of them, or any perticular B9 0D 00 00 ?

And SQL SERVER installed in my system has 6 types of protocols like
TCP/IP-----------------Used over Local/LAN/internet clients.
Named Pipes------------Used for communication via ODBC.
Multiprotocol------------Mixed Protocol
NWLink IPx/SPx----------Network Link with IPx/SPx protocol mostly for LAN networks.
AppleTalk----------------Might be some kind of application like Hamachi.
Banyan Vines-------------might be same as above.

I have enabled all protocols I said.

cliconfg is a Sql Server Client Network Utility. from that you can change settings how client should communicate with server. Thats all.
There in first tab, we have to enable all the protocols to allow client to communicate with server without any problem. the VIA protocol is THROUGHT some App protocol. Usually we dont require to enable that protocol.

no! dont change all, see that link in my previous post. Search for the first bit (the hex in black font) if that doesnt work, search for the whole hex. u will get it. mine thats what happened. and hmmm i will check with my sql

I have literally spent all night looking at the whole forum.

I have come across various "Solutions"
1.) Check ports. Done.
2.) Check IP's. Done
3.) Shut the damned firewall off. Done.
4.) Start server slowly (from AGES AGO). Done
5.) Check if ports blocked. Done


My login agent is not getting any information from the login server. BUT my login server is recognizing my loginagent. Its really weird.

I am using multiple clients to try my luck. i have the mania client(15mb exe file) which i use when i start the 562 ZA and LA, and i also have a chinese 219 client (i dunno which one it is, but the exe is 9 mb)

After coming back after 2 days, i reinstalled the whole setup and server is running good.
When i start the multiple clients the following errors in particular clients as below..

1. A3 India Client - Failed to connect login server.
2. A3 Mania Client - Failed to connect login server.
3. A3 Element Client - Connecting.................(pop)DISCONNECTED WITH SERVER(pop).
4. A3 Original Client Korean - Connecting.................(pop)DISCONNECTED WITH SERVER(pop).
5. A3 @#$%^@ Chinese Client - Failed to connect login server.
6. A3 Glory Client - Connecting...............(pop)DISCONNECTED WITH SERVER(pop).

I tried changing port in login agent 3550 and 8811 both and tried above clients same problem. I tried to check the port in A3Client.exe file, but as mentioned in some of the threads in this forum, i found the Hex value but could not figure it out which port is using. It was unreadable. so i could not change the port in A3Client.exe

Further, CvrDheeraj, i could not run my private server due to above problem. If u have solution pls put here. If u have the clients of 202/205, 219 & 562, then pls upload only A3Client.exe file and put the link here. Some one pls upload working A3Client.exe hexed 127.0.0.1 for A3 Glory Server Files.

Oh Yes, forgot to say. I have a Wifi Modem and a dynamic IP. My Port Forwaring is awesome (no problem) because my webserver is running good. I have MS Sql 2005 with manager and I hve enabled the TCP/IP protocol. My Router Firewall is off. Still i could not connect to my SQL Server through my WAN IP. I Dont know why. Any Idea.?

Start again with a fresh set of Server files and A3Client.

I 'd say, download any 219 server client ( Flamez, Ultimate , etc before they also turn to 562 )

And try hexing their client to your NEW SET OF SERVER FILES.

Usually the Connecting... error comes if LoginServer is unable to get data from the ASD connectors
Failed to connect to login server comes if client cant connect to Login Agent...


JUST START YOUR WORK WITH A FRESH SET OF FILES

Thanks for your response. I am trying a 219 server. The 562 za and la are only to ALSO try mania client.

My login server shows ASD connected, and if i check the ASD port listener (7770) it shows that its connected.

I am willing to start afresh as you have said

But with no files available online, its really hard. We only have access to the A3 Glory server files, along with a 9mb client exe or the mania exe which is 15mb.

All the files that i have are thanks to Karthikreads. Thanks man.

My trouble is i think that the loginserver is not forwarding information correctly to the login agent. Because the agent always shows 0 users are logged into agent. Any idea if this would be the problem?

Till i get a response, i am gonna make the server all over again

same here, but when i try to connect, i got the Users in login agent as 1. and as soon as the game menu shows Disconnected from Server, the login agent shows 0 users. Now the problem is in Login Server? or ZA? which one?
