Was thinking about dumping this crappy 17" BenQ one and go for this one,


Will the games run a bit smooth at 1680x1050 on my XFX 8800GTS 640mb xXx ?

Yes ofcourse it will.. And that monitor is a good one.

It would depend which game your referring to, something like Supreme Commander will murder any setup without top of the line equipment at high resolutions and settings.

If you have the room and want free central heating then go for a CRT, they have superior image quality, they can reach higher resolutions at smaller sizes, higher refresh rates, they appear to be smoother, they can display black properly (LCDs display a dark shade of gray) etc etc. Well worth getting one

Have had mine for several months now, and also purchased a samsung 206bw for my pops on his birthday not too long, very nice series.. always look for the 206/226 series.. jsut waiting on the 266 26", I'll jump teh gun and get one whenever those get released :)
