Full official client from here, then modify with the executable provided, strip XTrap, translate assets etc. as normal. Or rather, most of us combine assets from an official KPT release replacing them with their equivalent in the language we prefer to use... but in the KPT locations.

Releasing "Full" clients here is a nono. That's copyright material hosted only on official sites, but freely available for all. (though, I did release such a client long ago, before I was on staff... nobody noticed. :s)

I think the post is still here... IDK if the link died and I wouldn't re-upload it if it was. Hmm... actually, visit my PPT (Personal Priston Tale) and check out the client install creator. That also has all assets, just not in the right places. When you compile the setup, you can run it and it will put them in the right place. The base was EPT, but I also included QunatumFusions KPT client as "Alternative". You could use any.

I tried the server with the PPP but could not .. and I gave up.

I want to mount a normal fun with friends.
so that all who try to have too many problems,

you could create a VM (virtual box) containing the PPT ready?
using the tutorial videos not able to mount it.

IDK what you mean by "mount it", unless you just mean you can't mount an ISO file, or burn one to CD and insert it in the tray... but that isn't necessary to run the installer anyway, it's only to make the server easier to transport to a LAN party. Stick it on a disc, install at the start of the party and wipe the server when the gig breaks down to go home. (usually a long-weekend affair)

There's no point making a VM since it cannot be hosted here and SunnyZ has one which will take PPT perfectly well. ^_^

One of the first German phrases taught to beginners is "Alles ist in Ordnung." It is commonly used in greetings. "Hey, how are you?", "I'm fine, and you?" In German, I was taught, the same phrase may be used as both question and answer "Guten Tag, ist alles ist in Ordnung?" "Jar, alle ist in Ordnung."

This phrase alone is a more appropriate response to that post than anything so succinct that I could write in English. While it directly translates as "Everything's fine / well" it implies a healthy normality, without that *fake* "Oh yea, I'm good thanks" that we tend to end up saying out of politeness, even when everything's poopie and you'd like to rage a the world. ^_^ German people can be blunt, but at least it's honest.

The type of modification implemented in this server (which is why I don't like it) is exactly that type of modification anti-virus look out for. Additionally, these are all generic, unnamed hits. Every detector which finds something doesn't really recognise it as anything other than "malicious looking, can't be anything good". However, that's based upon the assumption that "anything good" would have the source code to modify directly, without resorting to altering the program after-the-fact.

Yes, it's ugly and should be treated with caution. However, it achieves what it does because of the brute-force, no compromise attitude to making PT do what it wants.
