It's easier to just hex edit, tbh. Just open gbserv in a hex editor and search for 127.0.01 or localhost and you'll find the rest of the DB information.
Ok servers starts normally. Enter to launcher login\password and press "Enter" got this error(attachment). Anyone know how to fix it? Redownloaded and reinstalled client for 3 times...
I followed the tutorial at 1st post exactly,
did everything to the client, and applied the patch to the client.
My problem is, when I start the GunBound-Force.exe or NyxLauncher.exe,
I enter my ID and password and press Enter,
it just hangs. And nothing happens next.

It could be doing this for several reasons, the most common one is because the ports on your computer are blocked (not always initiated by a GameGuard error).
Try that, if that doesn't work, then it's something to do with your login server (broker/central file). Look over those configs.
Read the first post on the "Tutorial Thread", the solution is there.
You are receiving this due to your hosts file not being directed to either your GameGuard server, or another person's emulated GG Server.
I wonder if anyone can confirm the client download link is working? I have tried downloading it with 3 different browsers, with and without premium accounts, Using rapidleech. All of them give me corrupt files. And notably when i download the file myself, i get stuck at 18.3 or 18.5mb. =\
EDIT: Redownloaded the file again. Finally got it to download properly and not be corrupted after so many tries. >_>

1). Setting up your server
Install MySQL 4.x and configure an account with the username: root and no password (due to the default server configuration files - if you want to change this later you may do so).
You can use any MySQL Management System - for a quick DL of Apache 4.x click

.
Create 4 database: admin, batch, gunbound, and user. Import the data from "DataBases" folder from the GunBound WC file.
There is really nothing to change in the database besides this one column. In the database GunBound, open the table applicationsetting and configure the following:
Notice & BaseURL: Your Server IP (either 127.0.0.1 -or-
You must be registered to see links
)
FullDownloadURL: Your Server IP/fetch.php
If you use another IP address rather than 127.0.0.1 you must add an account root for the new IP address:
2).Configure server settings
Go to Buddy Center. Find setting.txt. Configure all IP addresses with your MySQL IP (127.0.0.1 as default unless you changed it).
Go to Buddy Server. Find setting.txt. Configure all IP addresses with your MySQL IP (127.0.0.1 as default unless you changed it).
Go to the folders 8360 and 8363. Find setting.txt. Configure all IP addresses. DO NOT CHANGE THE ACCEPT LINE!
Once you've completed configuring the IP addresses use Partner Agent to reconfigure the 4 files.
When you open PartnerAgent browse through the server files and look for GunBoundServ3. If you've updated any MySQL Information (Usernames & Passwords) this will automatically update the MySQL Settings in your server files.
Now you can click Install Services and Start Server.
3). Setup Web Server
Install any webserver (there's EasyPHP in the above link).
Copy the nProtectFolder, GunBound Folder, and Fetch.php/.dll to your root folder (www)
When you update your Client your FETCH should look like this:

/nprotect
You must be registered to see links
/fetch.php /

/fetch.dll
4). Configure Client
Install the client. Once the client has been installed apply the patch. To apply the patch, you can either execute the file to path of your client, or you can drag & drop the files in the folder where your client has been downloaded.

Reconfigure NyxLauncher.INI
Go to: Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ open the file host.ics with notepad.
Insert the following lines. When you're done save the file as a read only file.
Ok servers starts normally. Enter to launcher login\password and press "Enter" got this error(attachment). Anyone know how to fix it? Redownloaded and reinstalled client for 3 times...
