Ace Online is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with the characteristics of both Third-person shooters and flight simulators. In North America, it was also known as Space Cowboy Online (known as SCO). Ace Online is also known as AirRivals in the European version. Originally, the European version was going to be called Flysis. Now subaGames is taking this game back, they announced that Closed Beta Testing for ACE Online starting August 18th, 2008.

First impression: Most online games are based on mouse clicking and strategy, while this one is based on pure ability to control your plane. It is always full of excitement and cool moves. The first and second map are boring but then it gets exciting- dogging the missals is awesome. But I am not gona spoil your fun- find it your self. This is a that grabs you from the first moment. Everything is made to almost perfection.

Graphics 8
This game has excellent graphics. It almost feels like watching a film, but usually the film doesn't attack you with missals. The monsters, well they cannot be seen very good because you fly past them very quickly. But there are pretty good ideas about them and they are original. The terrain is very good and realistic. The collisions are beautiful, the flight is realistic and the battles are spectacular. The most original and probably the award winning things are the maneuvers- they are a piece of work- you can fly trough tight canyons, turn clock wise, or miss a wall by 10 cent. loosing a rocket.

Sound 9
The soundtrack is fantastic. Everything is connected with the battle. The bomb hits are awesome. But you should hear this it's worth the effort. If you have a surround sound you will feel like you are in a war. And that's about it for the sound.

Gameplay 10/10
This is where this game hit me the hardest. In most online games you click to do something but not here. Here you only depend on your pilot skills. You pilot with W, A, S, D and with the mouse. The build of the ship is simple so no worries. There is only one type of weapons, one of radars, armors, etc. There are four types of ships depending on the ability (speed, shooting, accuracy, power, etc.)- it all depends on your style of playing. Next we have the so popular quest- here there are three types-about exp and money, just money and a story line. The skills are simple to use. Let's talk about the monster. They either are hard to hit or the fire something at you-they are intelligent. Some are hard to find other are hard to kill and some are just hard. So in five word- this game is pretty cool.

Community 4/10
Well community in this game is overlooked. The chatting is boring and the team work is absent so there is nothing so about it. Only the battles are something new. You can fight against real players. That is pretty much all the community.

Value 7/10
This game has a great potential so it worth a lot. A lot of good ideas are realized here.
Unique features: This game gives another meaning to the name online game. In short this is the most original game I have seen in a long time.
