Please help because i don't get it

I have buyed a server and yesterday i have installed:

Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
Microsoft SQL Server 2005

If i open session he says:


2068: Session Server Ready
2068: Provider::initialize<>
Microsoft OLE DB Provider For SQL Server: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen <connect<>>.]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Why do i get this

The server packs not
i respond again if i download the server packs and than work or not..

He does give the error again..
I have download SQL Server 2005 SP3

I can login with the Account and password ,
Where can i look if he haves enough rights and which rights do he needs?

By account and billing and cash and character is :

db_owner and public

Where can i check for more updates?

I have found why he not can connect but now i have a other problem..

Not a fan of mssql 2005 Rather 2000 service pak 4 works really nice.

but MSSQL 2000 is not downloadable anymore..
If you search on the site of microsoft he says:

Not found..

Don't keep bumping this section don't get alot of hits no need to bump and it service pack 3 i think. All i updated to mine was sp4 witch is a free download.

run query analyzer and run the script: sp_addlinked server LSV_DKRACNT .for more information please read the guide
