I unpacked the MapleStory.exe successfully

and I removed HackShield and Security Check (I am not really sure about this)

I could enter the game

but the game stop responding soon after I open the game

Ip checks have to be removed (There are 3? including one that's time based?). That's assuming you removed the crc checks. I'm not entirely sure, Eric should be able to tell you about checks I forgot about (if any)

So... it was because of the ip checks ?

Changing the IP address isn't equal to removing the IP checks. Psure at least one of them is virtualized. You have to figure out the virtualized code and remove the IP check. I'm psure 1 of the three checks runs on a timer, and can be traced by some tick thing, but again i'm just barely aware these things exist and never actually attempted to remove these checks myself.
