You have to disable NAT and bridge the modem.

Then your don't have portforward anything in future.

i belive when your friend can enter your server you alredy port forward your server or if you unsure you can check using this url Open Port Check Tool

Could you post your website ip address here , i belive once you success port forwarding your router , your website should be visable , btw what error did your friend get once he entered your website ? just blank or server not found?
