This can happen when you do not have enough memory available to give to the java server. Edit start server.bat it should be something similar to -Xmx6000m. Unless your computer has 6 gigabytes of RAM, try changing this number to be lower, like 1024 or 2048 for 1 or 2 gigabytes respectively.
