Server Side for database will need
Mysql : ver 14.12 distrib 5.0.95, for redhat-linux-gnu (i386) using readline 5.1
Server will need to be ran on Centos 5.5
Server Source


For the database you will need to change the names from DEICIDE to LAQIA
and the login database from
DEICIDEAccount to LoginAccount for it to work.

Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 C++

Clean Binary Client

The SDK Files are needed for the client source.
They will not compile otherwise.
SDK:


For the updater you will need a program called ARJ
very simple to operate once you get used to it. all command lines.

I'm very limited to the help i can give. i will answer questions if needed.

You can probably use another version of the visual studio, I've done so before, you just need those SDK Files that i posted to be linked in the visual studio so the client can compile.

You can create new Forms for the server sources to make it compatable for windows 11 instead of Centos startup. the code is already there you just need to complete it.
Otherwise you will need to use Linux centos 5.5 to compile the server sources with the makefiles.
i believe one of the compilers is G++ in linux that it uses. just look at the makefile it should say.

If anyones having problems with anything i'll answer all questions to the best of my ability.

You are able to use Centos 7, you would need all the necessary library files that would be needed to start the game, its a lengthy process to find the library's, i've done it before just takes abit of time.
The centos i'll be uploading is a centos 5.5 with a desktop. it will have a preset mysql, and server files and binary files, i'll also upload a localhost client that way you guys can test it.

I'm just setting it up to be as user friendly as possible.
