As anyone around here who "knows me", if there's ONE thing I always strive for ~ it's "OFFLINE CAPABILITY" (and and/or NO external dependencies)...

I have been "away" and quite busy on some MAJOR projects (no not tech related sorry) so I don't get a lot of time to even be on a P.C. any longer (for now anyway) but; I seemed to have noticed that the last launcher I switched to (for this release/update - sklauncher) appears to be "broken" (at least if you're OFFLINE)... I'm guessing it would work/update if I was online; but #1, I wasn't ~ and #2, like I mentioned above: I always pride myself on having releases that are NOT DEPENDENT on ANYTHING externally (including a network connection). My current life scenario is actually a PERFECT example of why I do that (because most of the time I have NO connectivity, and when I do it's akin to DIAL UP at best)!!!

So, as such - when I get an opportunity I plan on rebuilding the client from this release (and only the client) once I am also able to find a new "cracked" launcher that will work (even with 1.19.4) OFFLINE!

The entire process for me to "rebuild" the ISO will not be too hard OR very time consuming... In and of itself. However, with what is currently "going on in my life" my "interwebs" connectivity *REALLY SUCKS*. So (honestly) the hardest part is going to be uploading/re-uploading it (once I've "rebuilt" it)...

But, nonetheless I WILL get it done. It's a matter of WHEN *not* if...!

I am going to leave the bulk of everything else in the release alone though seeing as this is nearing what I would consider "EOL" for any of my releases. Which, to date, I've been "supporting" my releases for approximately TEN years (give or take)... (13 years for my PW release)! And the original release date for this MineCraft release of mine was 16-NOV-2014! So we are closing in on "EOL" on this one too, NOV of '24 will be TEN years for this release too!

If I ever conquer the RL crap I'm doing now I may "retire" from these kinds of things (maybe [just maybe] even move on to 'founding' my own Linux distribution) but don't hold me to that last one!!! That's a pretty big *MAYBE* lol... .. .

Plus, this has apparently "fallen" to the "legacy" section of RZ too anyway so. I do want to "polish" it up a tad (can't leave it in a potentially non functioning state)! But this may very well be the last update this one sees since we are so close to it's "ten year anniversary"! (so sorry, don't expect any huge "blow out" right AT the 'anniversary' like there was for my PW release)!!!

Anyway, may MineCraft live on! (next time you hear from me it will be when I have been successful in uploading the update)!
