[Release] PvE Realm Guide

Alright guys! I've worked on this for a while now. I'm glad to say I have finally figured it out!

In the gsalias.conf(First Realm) You have

[Identify]
ServerID=1
Name = RealmName (PvP)

[Template]
CollisionFile = map.bht

To get a PvE realm replace your current gsalias.conf details with this:

[Identify]
ServerID=1
Name = RealmName(PVE)


[Template]
CollisionFile = map.bht


[General]
pk_forbidden = true

This will make the realm you have edited to be PK free! Though red names can still be attacked. As well as Blue named.


For spawn control you can edit your gsalias.conf like this:

[Identify]
ServerID=1
Name = RealmName (PVE)

[SpawnController]

I was going to post what I discovered, but you beat me to it (Guess your method is better anyways since I accidentally converted my entire test server to PVE)

How can I open many realm, like one for PVP, one for PVE and one for trading PVE

you have to edit the gsalias.conf files for each realm then u have to either make a start file for each or add them to existing start file like I did for my 3 realms have up so far.
Look at the this for a reference, this is my REalm 15 start file which u need if want Wonderland Fair
file is gs15, permissions to 755
Inside put

#!/bin/sh
cd /usr/zx2/gamed
./gs gs.conf gmserver.conf gsalias15.conf > /root/log/gs15.log &

Save
Then in vmware window of server get prompt and type ./gs15 to start it

i dont understand, what u mean SAVE? in file gsalias15.conf? if yes could u pls post ur file? and write what to do next?

You need to create new file name it as gs15 and put this line inside it:

#!/bin/sh
cd /usr/zx2/gamed
./gs gs.conf gmserver.conf gsalias15.conf & > /root/log/gs15.log

save the file close it and change permission:
chmod 0755 gs15 so eveytime u need to load that realm all you need is executive ./gs15 also make sure you save it under /root home
