what's your battle ip open source with eclipse \pb-game\src\ru\pb\game\network\client\packets\server\SM_BATTLE_PREPARATION.java and change. if you can't i can help you

It's due to the bad design of the emulator, it triggers a lot of exceptions.
I had the same problem while testing it on my computer, make sure you use lower-cased usernames.

Basically what dragon was saying is that this server isn't coded well and missing packets so basic things will not work!
