hi, i have a problem
i succesfully configurated a server router supported... but i have a problem

when i put in CsConfig.ini my global ip, others CAN connect but I CANT
when i put in CsConfig.ini my local ip, others CANT connect but i CAN
what should i do?

use GLOBAL IP in CSconfig.ini

then try editing your HOST located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (open in notepad)

put your LAIN IP then your GLOBAL IP

example

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.0.101 333.333.333.333

you and your friend can connect now to your server

Hello,

When im starting the mu server all things go normal only gameserver give`s an error MSG ERROR
and when i click on my server and then i wanna join then i disconnect .

Can someone help me please

where do i put my local ip(192.168.0.166) and where do i put my global ip(79.112.227.14) ?
P.S.: My global ip is dinamic
Questions:
1: Can i replace my global ip with a no-ip address? (like: muvaslui.no-ip.biz)
2: What Ip should i insert when I start MuServerStartUp?
3: Do i have to edit main.exe ? 'cause if I modify it with Main Editor, it gives me an error.
4. What ip should i put in launcher?

1.no ucant with no-ip cus it has " - " use sytes.net so its better or servergame.com

2.ur globalip

3.hmm main.exe or go data/local there

4.in launcher ur globaip


and bytheway your localip its not 192.168.0.166

local its always ( 127.0.0.1 )
lan its 192.168....

if u have router go here and see what u can do

and bytheway your localip its not 192.168.0.166

local its always ( 127.0.0.1 )
lan its 192.168....

in many tutorials it said:$: local ip...

but... now that i changed lan ip with real local ip ... i can connect to server ... tomorrow i will tell a friend to test if he can connect too...

if you got dynamic ip use NO-IP

1.try using muvaslui.servegame.com
2.muvaslui.servegame.com
3.edit the the main.exe ip and use muvaslui.servegame.com
4. muvaslui.servegame.com

your HOST shoud be

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.0.166 muvaslui.servegame.com

When the server startup in windows xp sp3 gameserver crash not responding.
and when i start it in windows server 2003 it give`s MSG ERROR + when i try to
connect in my server disconnect

ok...so.. my global ip is muvaslui.hopto.org
When i edit main.exe, muvaslui.hopto.org is too long so there I inserted my Global IP (79.112. ...) but in the rest of the places where i had to put Global IP i put muvaslui.hopto.org. Is that a problem? Because When i get in game, it appears the MuVaslui Bar, then the bar with the red/green lines appears but when i click it, my login bar doesn't appear. In upper left corner it appears Connected To Server but my login bar still doesn't appear. What should I do? P.S. Yesterday I connected succesfully to server but now IDK what happened

go to season3 folder

Data\local\there u need to change ip i think too

but if u dnt need to

then check mapserverinfo.det and again all places u pasted Your ip...

you said you got dynamic ip so you need to use the NO-IP

ok...so.. my global ip is muvaslui.hopto.org
When i edit main.exe, muvaslui.hopto.org is too long so there I inserted my Global IP (79.112. ...)

i told you to put your NO-IP in your main but you still use your global ip:mellow:

IPLIST.DAT(just use 127.0.0.1)
MAPSERVERINFO.DAT (muvaslui.hopto.org)

btw how many server are you running? your mapserver showing your running 4 servers

and what serverfiles youre using?

I cant put my no-ip in my main because it is too big and the main editor doesnt allow me to put more than 10 characters there.. I'm running only one server.. The server files are from this guide i think

So, i modified the no-ip to muvs.hopto.org and i modified all global ip's with it ... now it works fine for me, it remains to let other players test it ... i really thank you evo1123 for your answers, 'cause they saved me


Later Edit: Me and my friend can both connect to server. Hurray ... But there is one small problem... Normal players can't see admins. Neither an admin can't see another admin...Practically ... An admin is invisible ... and i dont want this...at least not to other admins ... somebody knows what would be the problem ?

6.a) Open: "MuServerStartup.exe" .
6.b) Press "Configuration" .
6.c) Go to the line 08 Joinserver and change the "88.119.121.84" into your global IP.
6.d) Press the "Save icon" in the right upper cornor and then press the "! icon"
6.e) Change the "88.119.121.84" into "127.0.0.1" and press start.
6.f) If ur at this step u succesfully started your server without any error.

A and B works fine but after that i can't change my ip in the line's, it gives me an error that it cannot overwrite something.
(Just doesn't save my changes)

And another point i dont get is 8. opening ports.

I understand i have to go to my router setup on the i-net but how i open any ports inthere ive got no idea. (if this is neccesary to do when im not putting it online anyways then please tell me but if its not neccesary then allso tell me )

well with my ip not that one that is used there) in internet explorer it stops and sais to put in username and password to procede to site and y don't know the user and pass.Is there any other way to change the ports?? THX
