Swift is now open source

Apple's swift repository has been opened up to the general public:

Is anyone excited at what Swift could offer to cross-platform development?

They said Swift was going to be open source when they released it, I think?

And I'm quite sure they had added a Swift Compiler for linux before.

Well, I had studied Swift when it was launched (I still had a Mac back then...), and it was beta (@Papercup 's sweet Apple Dev account ), and I gotta say that it was WAY better than Objective-C.
