I will admit that I am now confused. The setup instructions in the first post make no mention of editing the hosts file and, as this vbox is being set up purely for my own local use (at least right now), I am unsure what to add into it.

This is what it currently contains:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
127.0.0.1 manager 
127.0.0.1 aumanager 
127.0.0.1 auth 
127.0.0.1 audb 
127.0.0.1 link1 link2 game1 game2 game3 game4 delivery database backup 
127.0.0.1 gmserver.localdomain    gmserver 127.0.0.1 bogon

Could you suggest what I might need to add to it?

I still can't get this to work, having the 204 error constantly (and the same error in the world2.err log).

I have updated my hosts file to read like yours, except with Local IP Addresses (192.168.x.xxx). I have not edited any files not mentioned in the instructions in the first post.

Any other suggestions on what I can try to fix this?

about host file and files that you have to put in etc ?

it has to be same as bola said on his share else it wont work

Hello im using your client (SOMA)to connect to my private test server since i cant find the download link, just need to know if that client will work or need to use other client ?

SOMA Client was based on Bola Share at first time

but on my forum i did share my entire server the install process still same as here

as i dont have time to make a post on ragezone

here the link and up to modo to delete it or not as they wish due they always delete so

was using your files but now i cant get the green status in server list, and your files have other files that bola files dont have, also cant find the DB

Seems like Magenik files is diferent than Bola server files, i was checking and the name of the DB was even diferent, i changed the ip on other files that was not event mentioned on bola files, so this is very confusing this game use mssql or mysql ? what part im missing of the install procces?

Hi can anyone help me with my problem, i have my server running and it seems like every things is right, but when i tried to run the client an error telling me that the server is restarting - please try again later. i have my logs pasted:
