[Tut] How to Backup your mysql database via navicat and mysql

Navicat:

Step 1: log into it etc..

Step 2: double click on your database.

Step 3: right click on your database and click dump sql.

Step 4: now save it where you want it, you should do this everytime you shutdown the server.

Mysql:

All Steps:
Download Mysql v5.0 and Mysql Gui Tools. Run Mysql Administrator go to back up. Click New Project then Type the name of what you wanna save your back up as. Then Click your maple story database and click back up. Then to exectute the back up. Open Query browser Go to file then open script and click execute XD~credits to ryuko.

credits to me for making the navicat one, i know it seems easy but some people don't know how.

If i make the back up. and change my odinms source to a newer rev. then execute it.
would it work? I just want to update my source w/o wiping everyting.

Hi,

I have installed navicat premium for MYSQL backup on server. I have properly scheduled backup that should run everyday 22.00. But it not runs on regular basis... can Someone please help ?

Might I suggest to you all a better alternative to any of these MySQL programs. It's called SQLYog, and it is MUCH better and faster.
