Hi all, this is my first guide ^^, so lets go :angel_innocent:
As you all know, creating spawns is really time consuming... I wanted to create spawns but not going in - game. I thought... lets just use the tool "KalOnline Maps" ( written by me ). So I made a lil extention and i'm gonna show you how to use it and create spawns really fast
Requirements
- KalOnline Maps v1.1 ( Can be obtained [
- A picture of a minimap ( In this example we use E-Mok islandCan be obtained [
1. Download the requirements.
2. Open KalOnline Maps, and go to View map=>Other ( from file )
3. Browse to minimap file. ( I used minimap_.jpg in this example )
4. Give X/Y vectors. ( In this example its x:40, and y:30 )
*It doesnt matter what the size is, but it is required to use outdoor maps. Because of the dimensions.
5. Press [Ok] -_-
These steps in a screen:
6. Get your N/W point of the spawn retrangler.
7. Right mouse click on this point=> Copy these coordinates/32 to clipboard
9. Paste these coordinates DIRECTLY to the GenMonster.txt (rect ) command (you need to get rid of the special letters)
These steps in a screen:
9. Get your S/E point of the spawn retrangler.
10. Right mouse click on this point=> Copy these coordinates/32 to clipboard
11. Paste these coordinates DIRECTLY to the GenMonster.txt (rect ) command (you need to get rid of the special letters)
These steps in a screen:
*If you want to create spawns in the "default" maps you can skip step 1 up to and including 5.
So, in this way i filled up E-Mok island in like 40 mins... And tweaking it in 20 mins. That maks a total of 60 mins. Thats like 10x faster then the "ordinary" way.
