[Tutorials] WarRock Server Tutorial For Chapter 1 & 3

Hey Guys, today i'm gonna show you how to make an WR Chapter 1-3 Server.

Xampp:

You must be registered to see links

Navicat:

You must be registered to see links

Now we can start.

1. Installing XamPP

Instal XamPP and start the Controlpannel.

2. Starting Services

Start Apache and Mysql

3. Navicat Connection

Spoiler

Open Navicat and set up a new Connection

3. Creating new Database

Spoiler

Connect to this Server and make a new Database (Rightclick new Database)
Name it warrock

4. Importing Database

Open the new Database and drop the AlterEmu5.sql in.

5. Start Importing

Start the Importing.

6. Edit the Server config

Spoiler

Go into the dictonary with the Files and goto: Authorization\bin\Debug\

There you open the config File and edit.

If you hosting for your own, then you write in host=127.0.0.1 (OVERALL!!)
You can see database=alteremu
Edit this to your Database.

Like database=warrock or whatelse.

Then you go to: Game\bin\Debug
And edit the Config File too.

7. Starting the Server

Now we almost done.
Now you can start in Authorization\bin\Debug\ the Authorization.exe (IMPORTANT!!! THIS FILE FIRST!)
After that you can start the game.exe in Game\bin\Debug

Now you Server is running.

8. Setting up the Client

Install the WarRock 2008 Client and edit you hosts in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\

and put in: 127.0.0.1 login.warrock.net

9. Start WarRock

Save it and start the WarRock.exe

Then you Press Agree and login with the normal Account Datas.

Nice tutorial, but could you please work a little more on the formatting, it's kinda hard to read. You could make the steps bold (the titles) so they stand out a little bit more.

I'm gonna edit the Thread better with other Tutorials for other Files, i think the Thread is then for 4 Files ^^
