I have xpt server files,ept client 3100 with rpt patch from the RFT thread and im using ODBC. And im getting Connection Failed.

Your using your hamachi IP, use your external IP.

it doesnt work even with the 127.0.0.1 ip. Could it be something to do with versions? Maybe the rpt patch doesnt work with the ept files

Well then that should work fine. Are you using your LAN/WAN IP in your register and in the hotuk settings to make sure your connecting to yourself.

I have everything set to my external ip. (reg,ldata,hotuk) And btw at first i got rcvmsg 72 or w.e when i tried to log in but after i deleted sql.dll i got nothing.

Hello im posting here because im alredy edit the SQL.DLL and the .reg but i cant connect with that ( if i deleted the sql.dll i can connect to my server) ^^ so i need help with the SQL.DLL
if anyone success with that have MSN for can help i really appreciate

If you can get it working without the SQL.dll just do it that way, honestly it won't make much difference.

Well its work withouth SQL.DLL but i can use the newes 2.0 ver withouth SQL.DLL? and if i dont use the sql.dll i cant have sod crown i think

You should be able to get the SoD crown either way, don't see a reason where the SQL.dll would prevent you.

Hello guys.
I'm trying to run my PT Server but still Unable to connect.
I'm using jPT server files, and I configure it exactly like the guide says.
I'm using 127.0.0.1 in all server files and client files.
My server is 3096, and I'm using a ePT client 3098. ldata.bmp with 3096, reg file with 3096 and hotuk.ini with 3096 too, all files with the same server name. Well, all files are correctly configured.

I start the server with 4096.exe, and it's ok.
Monster ok, users ok, everything ok.

I run the game with jpclient_A, but when I'm logging in appear a korean message and I can't loggin.
When I run the game with game.exe, says Unable to connect...

So...:
1 - I'm using correctly client?
2 - Why I can't enter with jpclient_A?
3 - Why says Unable to connect with game.exe?

Please guys, help me!!!

I'M USING JPT 3096 AND EPT CLIENT 3098. I THINK IT'S CORRECTLY ^^


I'm using a non-router moden, all ports are open.
In my FireWall too, all 10003 to 10009 ports are open.

Can you help me, PLEASE?

Have you tried disabling your firewall all together?
