Here is the patch I use to connect to my server.

the client I use is the LegacyGamers 4.5 client
but I think that the latest International client would do as well (worked for me once).

Open gunz.exe with a HexEditor (I prefer Hedit32)
Search for GunZ (match case)
Replace "GunZ Server" with your server name.


If you don't use match case on your search you'll find many strings with gunz, but GunZ is only one, so with match case you'll find it with the first search.
