Private V62 Servers Thoughts/Opinions

I haven't been paying close attention to Maple in a while and I have recently started playing pservers again. I have obviously been drawn to the v62/83 since that was closer to my era of gameplay (more specifically I played v55 back when odinms was around). Had a lot of good times memories etc. But what I am asking now is this,

Do any of you remember the SydneyMS, Farmerstory servers where they had custom rooms full of monsters, ridiculous FM rooms full of bosses and reborns. Especially the god weapons and stuff like that. I have been looking the past few days and haven't seen anything like that. Everyone now wants the GMS-like stuff. But for me pservers are supposed to be custom and not like GMS cause if we all wanted to play GMS then there would be no reason to play these.

Anyways, maybe this is just me coming back and not really feeling like I fit in haha!

There are plenty of highrate servers if that's what you want, none of them are going to be v62 though because it's boring as duck and there's nothing. old versions are for dumb hipsters who like to complain about changes

v62 is when I quit gms because pirates were introduces and I hated those jobs so much and still hate every new pirate xD

thanks for posting, im looking for a couple people that arent 14 and want to run a server together. getting ideas right now, if anyone want to pm about ideas, etc. please do! but also keep the stuff coming!

Whats the best version to ever come out that you all would play instantly if it had the stuff you wanted on it?

I always look for the most up to date servers However even if a server isn't right up to date, if it has a unique twist I will still check it out. Someone from an old server had made custom quests people had to do and that was fantastic, sadly they didn't stay up long.

IMO v0.62 servers are good to go and can net you success, I would recommend you to set the rates low and competetive instead of high and blatantly easy. Another tip, use you own thought out features and not just the pure gms-like ones, and also not the ones other v0.62 servers might be using. If you have the right mix your server might come out big, even on v0.62.
