What versions of server are available now?

Hello Ragezone.

I couldn't find anywhere a proper description to each server version we have here.
So can anybody, please, tell me in short what versions do we have right now and differences between them all?
Like what the difference between v3/v5, yokohiro, hycker, etc.. I just can't select which one release should I install (and what clients are available including localisation specifics).

Here is the current state of the releases in this forum, as quickly as possible (we could go into much more depth here):

In general, all releases can be divided into two versions: v3 (003...) and v7 (007...). The big difference is that v7 has more classes and newer systems. v3 is only recommended for legacy servers.
Different people then modified these versions according to their ideas.

This one merges newer client files into any v7 release. Very similar to what Genz did in v3.
Manual work required.

Regarding client compatibility: Make sure you get the client intended for the version you are using! You can mix and match most of the clients within one version, but if you are inexperienced this will lead to many problems.
Most clients should be in English, if your client is not, copy the translation files from another client to yours (Data/db/T_*.ini).

TLDR:
When in doubt: Use the installer, select Yokohiro 007.010.01.02 and download the client from its thread.
