which is better to play X360 on? 720p or 1080i?

ok. another question is why i cant play it on 1080p cause my PS3 plays it in 1080p but my X360 wont

I'm not sure why Gohan would say 720p. I would go with 1080i because the resolution is higher.

As for the PS3/360 thing, your probably using a wrong cable. I'm sure the 360 needs a VGA connection for that.

Because the Xbox 360 didn't originally support 1080p, now you either need the new HMDI equipped 360, or a VGA cable, but 1080p doesn't work with every TV then, not sure why, but quite a few HDTV's won't work with it.

well it works with the PS3 so i dont see why not the 360 o_O and i do got the X360 Elite

Not to mention most games were made for 720p, meaning that if you got 1080i that games aren't as smooth, and you are just upscaling the picture.

hmm well as i said the PS3 works with 1080p. the X360 just turns black for a while and switches back to w/e it was at. and should i use the PS3 on 720p instead also?

i got a 47" toshiba it says it displays 1080p resolution with 1920x1080 pixels
