A3 India - Commercial server

Hi Guys,

I understand most of you here are swimming deep in the world of private servers. Meanwhile do take a look at what the commercial English server now looks like.

I know its a lot of fun to host your own private server. I have my own for A3 and RO in our cafe LAN. But its only for our LAN members. We use it to learn the game, experiment different builds, Explore maps and explore levelling techniques. But at the end of the day there is no fun without the community.

I posted some screenies of War at A3 India. Sg was a little bigger but unfortunately was not sustainable. Check it out guys.

I would like to know whats the point of your thread, because not every1 in the world can play a3india, even if they could pay for it. (eg: my situation, but I wouldnt play on that server even if I get paid to do it, not after the things I saw in gamehaze).

a3 india has gone from bad to worse. i used to play on it sometime ago. now the only thing that is left to happen is WoW coming to India and de-throning each and every game possible.

WoW is being released in India by Reliance Infocomm which definitely has a proper management and admistration. The days of A3 India are coming to an end.

A3 India,is worster than worst.Kinda making players irritate by harrasing in-game gurus.
Payment so high which is impossible for players to pay for the game.So a3india is sure to go down.

I have a lvl128 HolyKnight there, played it when it was still free.

But the lag.. Everyone lags like fck.

The point being, I like this server and i was hopin to see some of you join this server.

No Reliance is not bringing WOW server to India. They will only provide WOW in their cafes. You still have to play on the international server. Hence Ping and Lag will be there for Indian players.

All the reasons you guys mentioned are worser by a multiple of 10 on private servers mostly hosted on 1 or 2 home PC's.

If you dont like the server its fine. Every body has different opinions. But why would you play till 128 on a sucky server and then call it a sucky server once they go paid ?? Money bites

Talking about reliance is exactly what I said. Its just that i put it in more official tone and u didnt. and yeah, do not discuss that here. this is a server zone and not some corporate official discussion forum....

second, a3 india is hell lagged. there are quite a few private servers which are perfectly run. if you are a regular follower of a3india, then u would surely know that a player recently hosted a net on a LfeX..the players experienced no lag. the maintenance of the server depends on the one who is doing it and not on the server itself..

Its not a money problem, if it was i wouldnt subscribe to Ragezone for $22 would i?

I agree. not only its against the rules, but I have received many players from that server before, and they had some horror stories to tell. thats the another reason I wouldnt play it even if it were free (or if I get paid a zillion dollars per month, which is the same thing).

this is really lame. at first they wage this whole issue about how private servers are affecting their business and how they should try and curb them...

and then they come over here and try to publicize their server. this is heights of being cheap.

LOL, Me a GM .. I would love to be that. A job to continue playing games. Unfortunately i am stuck as an elec engineer. I am no GM and i play from my house in Trichy, India. Any A3 player from India is passing by trichy is welcome home

Huh, i was hopin to have topic on commercial servers vs private servers and look at what its become.

I guess you guys are the same flamers who waste a3 india forum.

Btw Rudy , what exactly is against the forum rules here. Please be precise.

About Lag, I play using Bharti Tel. and i have no issues of lag whatsoever.

Also i'd like to get some responses from Non A3 India players.

Rules = If a server doesnt belong to you , you shouldnt advertise , and there's a special place to advertise , since this section is purely for development ( which i know it doesnt happen a long long time )


Official servers are always better than the private IF and only IF , they have a nice bandwith to sustain the incoming players , price isnt too high ( 15 bucks is more than enough , and i mean max 15$ , if i convert to euro it will be 11.65Euros ( no fucking TAX excluded )
The Working team should be having all necessary FILES to patch ( not asking for them to have the source code , but access to the latest files ) etc etc

Now on priv servers 90% are just kids who get the files start them up ( ones do alone , others spam the forums asking oh why oh why i cant do this and do that etc etc ), the other 10% doesnt say a work , they get the files study them put them up , play around with them do the necessary modifications to meet their standards , create new addons for them
but well back to the 90% kids , on this part half will just put the serve up and do **** with it , i mean no tweak of xp , bugs etc etc , while the other half will attempt to clean it

but from all priv servers scene , in 10 only 1-2 are good almost comparable to the officials.
