Clean DB:

Neatbeans:

(download or the full one or java se)


Step1: Download everything from the top.
Step2: Install MapleSea.
Step3: Install Neatbeans.
Step4: Create DB name it "odinms_sea".
Step5: Execute the clean db into "odinms_sea".
Step6: Create Loopback Adapter.
Step7: Edit Internet protocol (tcp/ip)
Step8: Field it like this.
*ip adress- 203.116.196.8
*subnet mask- 255.255.255.0
*default gateaway- (put here your default gateaway)
Step9: Edit the server files properties files.
Step10: Put 203.116.196.8 this ip in your properties files.
Step11: Copy the folder server from C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\jre\bin to C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin.
Step12: Add the exist project to your neatbeans "odinms_sea".
Step12: Go to DatabaseConnection.java.
Step14: Search for "a13241324" and put instead your mysql password.
Step15: Compile and put the odinms_sea.jar in your dist folder.
Step16: Go to your server files and create text files and change its name to subnet.properties.
Step16: run luncher.bat.
Step17: Create account using Sha1 generator. (password)
Step19: connect to your server with maplestory.exe.
(use the Singapore server)

Better, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows how to setup, because its the same as setting up an v83 server...Good job anyways

no problem bro
but still if you try to setup it like regular repack you will fail cause you need to add and fix some stuffs in this one.. and its little bit more complicated because of the loopback adapter.. and in the steadyms thread i saw that alot of people having problem to setup this files.. (99% of them are just lazy and instead of reading the error and trying to fix it they ask for help quickly.. so this will help for all the one who have problem with setup this files)

just put 5 in account gm and 5 in character gm.
and making the server public this something that im trying to do to.

I found out about the gm thing after, but thanks anyway. Maybe editing the msea host will make it public.

Haven't got this error before, but I'm guessing there's an error in compiling. Maybe try extract the dist from the rar file and recompile ?

Okay i followed your guide if i use the 203.116.196.8 ip in all the spots in my properties i get no errors. But if i use my ip in one of the ip places i get connection refused. While i try to connect under the 203.116.196.8 ip in my prop files my client connects to official msea and not my server i even used a redirect and still nothing. So what am i doing wrong..?
