Change Xampp Server Port Number

To change the XAMPP server port number fallow this 6 step's

1.Stop the XAMPP server.
2.Open the file [XAMPP Install Folder]/apache/conf/httpd.conf] (with notepad).
3.Now search for the string "Listen 80" .Change this 80 to any other number which you prefer.
4.Then search for the string “ServerName” and update the port number there also.
5.Save
6.Restart XAMPP server and you are done.

are:

8080

and

u can use what port u wanna...for example: i tested and 100% works, i used port 69 but when i give link to someone will must be like this

if port 80 is in use its mostlikely teamviewer that using it
so uninstall teamviewer and reinstall xampp then run it and reinstall teamviewer
works 100% for me and others

the thing is, every time when type website you must always add port number at the end.

Example

without adding :88/ website will not work, even you restart Xampp still not work.

default port for xampp is 80

so if you use 8080 or any other port you have

to add that port number to your website address

try nstat to view what porgram use port 80
