what port i need open ?
to PokeOrb, it's simple man, all you need to do is use Xampp, causes Xampp have MYSQL built-in already. you need to change the password for xampp and secured it.. xampp web site have it all you can follow that easy instruction. the rest is already guide by the first page from here
good luck bro.
dwhy would he need xampp if he doesn't even need a webserver? all he has todo is install mysql database and put in a password when setting it up
localhost
user-root
pass- w.e you put in
download navicat or use th mysql browser to create and upload the database
use root with no password, cuz if your using xampp or w/e webserver that's mysql + apache = pre-set root user no password, or your not setting the jar gui server info right, everytime you open it make sure to retype the password.
Yeah I'm not using xampp. I've got a website and created a mysql database there, but I think they're blocking my mySQL request. Says I'm not allowed to connect when I ran a test connection or something like that.

Aight. I've got it set up via navicat, however when I attempt to create an account, it simply says "an unknown error occured" and then logging in it says "The account server is offline"
The command prompt on the client however does state that it has indeed connected to the server.
i had this problem till i used tanomist's other zip he released somewhere in these pages.
My question is.. if i was to actually make this server.. i have a feeling nintendo would try to shut me down just like they did to Pokenet. What you guys think?
