Weren't entire months of posts wiped at two or three points? I know I had to remake my account once because of a server wipe.

[GohanSSJ]

Afaik there were 4 wipes.

Early september, In december, in january when we went to vBulletin and the now famous feb 2003.

There was a bug later on in vB which deleted a shitload of user accounts after a certain date, however the posts were not deleted.
The other cases were all starting with a fresh database. I believe all of them because of dodgy hosts that pulled the plug while there was no back up (or too old, incase of the vB one - still got that one)
