This apply to people who use the revcms 1.9.9.9 CMS

If your client is stuck at 76%... please read below. . . .

go to your wwwroot or htdocs, go to app\tpl\skins

open the skin folder you are using, and find the "client.php" open it with a notepad and find this line
or press CTRL + F to bring up the search box,

and find this: connection.info.host replace {server_ip} or 127.0.0.1

Then "connection.info.host" : "{server_ip}", / Now "connection.info.host" : "URIP",

after you are done that, hold "CTRL + S" to save, or go to file / Save.

CLEAR YOU CACHE after

Hope it helps, :)

forgot to add this Please open ur client.php and look for these links -

<script src="app/tpl/skins/{skin}/client/libs2.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="app/tpl/skins/{skin}/client/visual.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="app/tpl/skins/{skin}/client/libs.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="app/tpl/skins/{skin}/client/common.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

make sure in ur skins folder u have a folder called *client*, if not, download normal version of rev 1.9.9.9 and copy that folder into ur wwwroot/app/skins/URSKIN
reload ur client, and images should work and the loading part

I hate to sound like a dick but the I.P is pulled from the config file so their is no need to add your i.p in to the client.php at all
the loading to 67% can be caused by (Wrong ports, missing links, expressinstall.swf being missing) ect

So really just leave {server_ip} and check your config.php.

ok, sorry i wasnt sure how it worked, if this didnt help u, please dont bother posting hate all over my thread srsly,, i dont know all the tings the browser would save, so chill out Thanks -Les

I'm not posting hate xD
I know no one need to know everything.

But i really appreciate the intention of try help people ;)

well it may not do much of anything, but oddly after i changed mine from {server_IP} the client whent black, and then all i had to look for was the revCMS client folder images

Thanks but I don't think this would really help people further. Remind that browsers like google chrome have some nice tools like console to log errors like the most common "404", use them! Its not a crime. Don't also take it to easy and ask help for the less problems, first try to use your brain and think logic. Example: if you connect to the client, you don't receive incoming clients it would be a connection problem. Then look further. Checking hosts and ports, looks that the firewall don't block something. I mean try to do also things by your own instead of always ask help, then you learn and that's more rewarding I suppose? :D

I think the main worry regarding putting your IP in the client.php file is the fear that if someone was to "View Source", then you'd be placing your IP on view to the world.

But this fix did work on my test server, so thanks for that!
