Install teamview programs, and ask if someone has the time to help you setup it. It takes less than 30 mins to get everything going.

Read the tutorial guys you can't expect someone to do that kind of hand holding, I'm stumped on database editing but I'm doing my best. Many of the errors have been covered by the helpful posters around here

are your webserver and nmserver running? if not the processes won't appear i think, dont quote me on this tho i had a different issue and i'm no expert on the matter

try using navicat to edit the db, ssms only opens the last 200 entrys i think, sqlite browser works too but it's a bit less user fiendly

SSMS opens as many as you want, you can go to preferences to change the number you open by right clicking a table, or you can just run your own query like this

 select * from heroes..item

for example, that will return all rows.

You dont need sql server agent, just sql server only.

Google says it is permision problem.
Run SQL Server as Admin
Right click heroes.bak, choose Properties
In Security tab, try giving Full control to SYSTEM or Admin or Users, press OK.
Go to SQL and try again.

I've been stuck on this error for hours when i try to restore the database, I've tried repairing the ssms, but cant seem to get it to work.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
