Hi,

after a a few days of troubleshooting, many source edits and hacks, my last resort is to come here and post a thread.

one specific player is receiving invalid username and password pnce opening the client, launcher works fine, regardless of anti virus settings, firewall etc and regardless of the account they use (used my account and same problem)

its an error 400 on r3dlog id post it but idk my RZ password so can't use my account on their pc posting this from my phone

making it dump the response to r3dlog gives me an invalid header, bad request error. Everyone else running the same build has no issue getting on.

any help would be appreciated thx

The error is WO_API http400

only one player is getting it, during closed testing. I can't provide the full r3dlog because I'm on my phone at the players house. Don't need to provide a full log anyway as http400 incorrect header is the issue.

if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it please let me know. Everyone but one player is able to access the server. Please read my first post properly

the player can access the domain and API fine, and everyone else can access the game fine, so I'm unsure why this one person can't

will gladly dance for any tips on fixing this.

Position the app mime type application/x-php converts api application to see if this php to the top, configure port 443 also

SSL is disabled 100% inside the source for all projects as I'm using P443 for another web service on the same box. The mime type is already there, I added it when I first set the server up. The API is already converted to an application.

Thanks for your reply, though.

Edit: I'd like to point out again that it's only one person getting this problem. It's not a huge deal if I can't fix it. But, if it's happening to one person even in closed testing, it's bound to happen to another.

This is client problem,

disable firewall, disable anti virus, all windows updates performed, place somewhere in the c:/ that doesn't have permission restrictions, run as administrator, what operations system is he/she running?

Server wise
Check server side firewall settings you haven't blocked access to the server?
Maybe this person is blocked by your provider for other reasons?

AV is disabled, windows is updated, firewall is off, i've run it as admin. It's W10. Everyone else is using W10 also.

Server wise: Firewall is disabled.
ISP wise: Definitely not blocked.

The player can access my API through their web browser fine.

tried a new launcher? You have checked "BadLoginIps" tables in navicat?

Tried several edits of the same launcher that works for everyone else. I also have no such table. The account status is fine, and has not been locked either.

This is why it's frustrating me, because I have literally tried everything on RZ to fix the issue. Everything suggested on any thread with the same or similar error I have tried, even if it made no sense, but to no avail.

Thanks for your reply.

Haha yes that was the name of it sorry, memory served me bad this time :) hope it works.

Unfortunately, the player is still experiencing the issue. Here is his r3dlog.txt, I've taken the courtesy of dumping the response from the web server and I also renamed the code 8 error to code 9 so I could differentiate.

Code:

Do you have hwid ban system or anything else to that nature?
Has he tried on another computer on the same network?
Once I get access to my source hopefully some point tomorrow I will take a deeper look.

No, I am yet to add HWID banning.
Unfortunately no, there are no other PCs capable of using WarZ at the house, though I do believe this is isolated to his computer.

Thanks!

One of our players had this too.. he turned off AV & firewall etc still wouldnt work.He had to turn off Protocol filtering (or something) like that in antivirus settings then it worked fine .

I've disabled every single feature on the AV, I've disabled SmartScreen, Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, and added exclusions for the entire WarZ folder on his computer to his AV and Firewall, and still nothing which is really messed up.

I'll have a look later when I can on their PC for anything to do w/ Protocol filters. Thanks heaps.
