How to edit item attributes?

How to edit and create your own weapon by directly adding corresponding attributes after the ID in the XML? I want to change the values and add effects. Can anyone introduce the next steps. (Merge DC?)

I want to add some buffs or make changes to attribute numbers for weapons, heads, clothing, and equipment.

You lookup / create the passive skills the weapons should have in passivity.xml, then you need to edit the equipment template to contain said passivity id's and update the attack values and other things.
you need to do this in both client and server. If you want weapons to give a buff on attack or skill use you would need to create abnormalities and asociate them with the equipmenttemplate.
