im also getting .enc erros when i try to open the client with a startgame.bat, and if i use the x64 cabalmain it just asks for x64 dlls that are not in the client folder , im doing sum wrong

thank you for your reply, however when I change the opt.dat to 02 instead of 06 I cant seem to get it to work. The client just autocloses. I was using the EP35 English Patch provided in the other EP35 extender thread.

Open opt.dat into 010 Editor, and there you can change the 06 into 02, and save.

I am obviously too incompetent for this step, using x64dbg I couldn't find C741 01, the only corresponding addresses I find are C741 ??, but not 01. The values at your given address are 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 C3 83 FA 01 77 09 48 63 C2. Hm.

Fix: Pet Untrain Kit (Option Selective) - Removing ticket requirement
The "Pet Untrain Kit (Option Selective)" (item 3337) in Event Girl Yul's shop requires an exchange ticket that is not obtainable in-game. Here's how to fix it.

The item is in Event 531 (first tab of Yul) at slot 0, with ItemPriceID = 33. This ItemPriceID references an item
(ItemKindIdx 33560615) that doesn't exist in the client language files, making it impossible to obtain.

Fix:

Simply set the ItemPriceID to 0 (free) in the EventData database:

UPDATE cabal_ems_event_npcitemshop_table
SET ItemPriceID = 0
WHERE EventID = 531 AND ItemKindIdx = 3337;

Restart the server for EMS to reload the changes.

Guide: Adding Dragonium Equipment Set to Event Girl Yul NPC

Here's how I added the full Dragonium equipment set to the Event Girl Yul shop. This should work on any EP33/EP35 server using the same Docker setup.

Step 1: Understanding the EMS Event Shop encoding

The Event Management System (EMS) uses a different item encoding than Item2.scp:

EMS_ItemKindIdx = Item2_ItemKindIdx + 167936 (0x29000)

ItemOption varies by item type:
- Weapons: 805306612 (0x300000F4)
- Armor/Gloves/Boots/Helmets: 805306623 (0x300000FF)
- Epaulettes: 0

Step 2: Identify the active events

Check which events are active and how many items each has:

GROUP BY EventID ORDER BY Items;

Important: each event has a limit of ~64 items. If exceeded, the event tab disappears from the NPC.

Step 3: Find available slots

Before inserting, check which slots are already used:

- No client modification needed - everything is database only

- The encoding formula +167936 was discovered by comparing existing Demonite items in the EMS database vs Item2.scp

Tip: To find item names from IDs, check Data/language/<your_language>/cabal_msg.dec in the client. Items are mapped as <msg id="itemXXXX" cont="Item Name" />.
