Problem Adding Custom Weapon – TYPE2 Not Found

Hi everyone,

I've already successfully added one custom weapon to my FlyFF v19 server, so the overall setup is working. I'm now trying to add another custom weapon, but I'm running into the following error when starting the server:

FileName Spec_Item.txt(7684) : TYPE2 Not Found. : TYPE2

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I recommend using the publicly released v15 files. I would avoid the Ketchup files, since they still have a few known issues. You would be better off starting with the Blowfish or SoulSeller sources
Start from scratch, learn how systems are properly integrated, and take the time to understand how the existing code works before adding anything
Learning to develop on Flyff sources is clearly difficult for beginners, but there is no real shortcut. The best thing you can do is learn C++ and understand the source structure. Nothing else will help you in the long run
Copying and pasting code without understanding it is never a good solution, especially for a production server. Many of the systems released publicly on RageZone contain bugs, incomplete implementations, or compatibility problems.
