You're an idiot.

If you are behind a router make sure that you are allowing for the port in its firewall settings as well. The only other issue may be that your pc is trying to utilize your internet for connectivity and that it is blocking the port.

First off configure it and install locally until you have it all figured out. Don't waste your money on a VPS until you are sure you can install it with ease. Then you will discover all your mistakes and be able to continue installation remotely.

There is no hidden command. You just simply make a GM character with the GM Tool correctly and it is automatically hidden.
