Nice!! I used to play this game and even tried to make emulator for it but i was too busy enjoying playing the game so i never got to crack the encryption or decryption for packets :D How did you guys manage it i remember it was some shady stuff going on like it...
One way to analyze packets from client only is to hook the functions that write the bytes and makes the packet. This way you can basically just sniff the packet while being created and get the structure same time, however this wont tell you what all the bytes represent but it would speed up...
These are source for the client which is pretty outdated (v390~). However since these were found in Chinese file sharing sites i think if someone who's pro at finding client/server files from Chinese sites could find the matching server source for this would be awesome.

Since im bored and got too much free time and the client seems to be here i might as well go and start trying to create server emulator once again for this game. However i have lost the earlier analyzes i had so it will mean i gotta start from zero again.

if you want emulator like that you better do it yourself like cmb said before, or hire a team of programmers to do it for you

theres the old chinese files which are hard to setup and also have some bugs but if you get it up and running its easy to modify exp/drop rates. but since megaupload died im not sure if the files can be downloaded anywhere now
no, not at all.
its playable but misses good amount of features and has alot bugs in it e.g monsters which could be fixed by adding a server side
heartbeat to sync all clients but didnt know this back then and i gave up on this project.
