3DS MAx error

Hello ,

I somehow managed to install Auto Desk 3DS max 2010.
downloaded the 2 plugins McPlug2.dle and rsbspexp.dle
moved them to below location , and i get this error which i dont know how to fix .

I am trying to export a Katana.obj file exported from Blender.

Any help would be wonderful and highly appreciated .

The old 3ds max 2010 plugins are 32bit and only work with the 32bit version of 3ds max 2010.
When you install 3ds max you should be getting an option if you want 32 or 64 bit (or both).

Theres no point in installing both of the 2010 version for gunz, only install the 32bit version.

Anyhow, id recommend removing the 2 plugin files from the stdplug folder, see if max starts normally at all.

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

the plugins and put them in the plugins folder (not stdplug) create a random cube and try to export as elu/realspace map and see if it still throws an error message.

There are ports of the plugins to newer max versions you could try instead.
