3DS Max Error

I have installed the ase importer exporter files in the max plugin folder and when i run Max i get this

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have 3ds Max 2010, 2009 and Max7
And i cant seem to find an importer for my .ase files so i can mod the maps other than Sundrr's importer but thats the error i get when i use his

Go to 3dsmax/plugins and move asciiimp.dli and asciiexp.dle somewhere else , on your desktop for example. See if the error persists. Also , are you sure the new plugin you installed is for your version?

To export the .ase (without physique) you do not need anything, the 3ds normally exports to ase.

To import .ase you would have to use an older 3dsmax, and to use the Sandurr's 'exporter with physique' you would have to use 3dsMax 7 or 8.

(it only works on 3dsMax 6, 7, and 8).

I could use the exporter only after i installed the " MSVC++ 2005 " and 'repaired' the 3dsmax 7 (with the installation .exe). Then the exporter worked without any error messages.

ohhh... didnt know, i guess the irony is that we are all working with illegal "copyrighted" server files and they are hosted here, yet we cannot refference a link to something someone has hosted elsewhere
