Priston tale its a game that has maked part of our lives, in gold old school days of spicy RPG gameplay.
This isn’t a post about adding new shiny high level items or whatsoever. It’s about reviving a great game that has gifted us with so much FUN
An old school server? Hell, no! I wouldn’t play this same game as it is today. But a redesign of its mechanics, with the same tools underused by Yedang itself.

But I love Priston, what’s the problem with Power Creep?
Oh well, it’s fun to level our characters, grinding monster’s down. But the problem is that it gives no margin for CHOICE. What do I mean? Well... you actually don’t choose which items to use, you just use the stronger one, and games are about thinking and decision making.
The whole point of this Redesign is to give to the player the power of CHOICE.
Well, if you only have to use the stronger items. To do so, you apply the necessary stats for it, and the rest in your main stat. And smash the same button for the obviously stronger skill. What choice did actually you make?
But sir mikh4chu this is Priston Tale!
Well, what if existed items of the same level that are equally strong, but with different stats for different builds? Being able to choose which build path you want! Crit or atk speed focused, and so on!
What if you actually could use the hell out of the many skills that the game offers, in a optimal way? Being able to decide which one to use in certain situations!
What if you could ACTUALLY CHOOSE THE WEAPON FOR YOUR BUILD? A sword fighter, or an claw pike, in a viable way!
Would the game be less funny? I don't think so!
But do we do this, mr mikh4chu?? Question mark ??

And also I want to know: with current Priston Server and Client it is possible to: Edit skills damage, weapon, countdown, costs; Items stats and levels and add new mixes?
There is some limitation about giving a weapon speed that is beyond 11 or lower than 5, for example? Also let me know!!

Well, I have a list!
- I have problems with the mana usage in Priston: In early levels you get a new skill, use it twice and your mana is over! Damn! Leveling up is mostly basic hits. Early skills should only spent RES.
- Weapon limitations: Skills should be usable with much more weapons (and I think that Priston Engine allows it), in a way that you can decide for different weapons choices that are viable.
- Items shouldn’t be linear stronger and stronger – First that should exist a list of max level items that are equally strong and viable, but with different stats. And, items shouldn’t get obsolete as soon a higher level appears depending on your build.
- Mixes are better than Aging! In Aging you don’t decide anything, you just do it and get stronger. Mixes have the possibility if choosing which stats you want! So its necessary to create a bunch more of mixes possibility’s for the different builds.
