about .dds

if i want to change a xxx.dds file name into yyy.dds , do i need to change anyother files ? which files is controling .dds working ?

Nop just change the .dds file alone with xnview.

you dont need any special program to rename those file types. Just simple right click and rename works.

is it enough ? i am wondering at .dds file . in item_shape there is detail of anim skel mesh tpack but not dds , i guess dds files ' s name is not important , maybe u can edit it with 1234.dds or xxyy.dds , .

No dds files are important. Its the texture without the dds files you wont see it its preset some other way.

forexample, 1 weapon then there is a 1.dds is for 1 weapon ? is it right ?
