I would not say its easy but easier yes some of these i have yet to see a private server version at all let alone the client like apb i assume you mean All Points Bulletin or apb reloaded more recently after gamers first took over its been meh same goes for fallen earth.

The server emulators would be fairly straightforward if the depending on how the client is and the protocol itself but easy no it still takes time even with large language models to craft a production quality product.

AI Slop can be done fairly fast but quality takes time to properly review the source code and then test with a client checks for bugs and other issues a big issue i found recently while porting over scarlet blades login server was the protocol as Reverse Engineer anything has taken a hit after they alllowed everyone to then clone abet poorly microsoft, adobe etc products thus prompting them to lock down llms more yet again.

I am currently training a new model to focus on games and then ensure they work on Linux servers with the biggest focus being on OpenSuse as its the free version my daily driver Suse Enterprise Linux Desktop and Server at the house.

Let me know what you have and ill look into it and see what i can do but it will be released on the forums not kept private.

yes i mean All Points Bulletin , thanks so much , wow i cant wait for the model , what do you mean by what i have ?

The detection side is still the weak point for me — false positives on non-native writers make it unreliable for anything formal. For plain utilities the boring ones still win: just does the arithmetic without ten upsells.

Yeah this is a very big problem its been hard to properly craft discovery side before i even get started due to false positives as so many binaries use different compress and other encryption algos that are outdated or proprietary which is very annoying.

Then i have to factor this in every time i find something new it is very time consuming and costly but eventually it will get worked out properly most are fairly easy to get started but the full protocol has been a tiresome process as scarlet blade for an example uses a binary protocol for even the login server then the match server and so on. Then to find the rest i had to use headless inspection using wireshark to see everything across the wire.

Its been pretty annoying overall. It started as a small project that turned into a costly one but long term it should pan out i have done other work manually but the goal was to get the backend to work with Linux by default. :p

Running two dedicated servers currently at around 185.00 a month so its adding up pretty fast far more than i wanted when i initally started on this project a few months ago. It will go down but getting the process and then training done will require gpus this will cost more short term around 380.00 a month once everything is worked out.

I do have backing from a few clients but i am working also so i do not go broke as the funding is only for purchase of what i need not my personal bills.

Wizardy online - interesting game idk about population
Divine Souls - low population and interest idk we need tos ee for requests
Rift online - has around 200-300 players online actively right now

this could be done and worth
