Hello, iirc in the actual retail game a lot of npcs would heal their allies and you would have to first kill them. Im using 4.6 aion core emu and from all the projects ive seen healer npcs are not properly implemented and so ive got down to work and made a basic npc healer ai. Problem is i dont quite remember exactly how npc healers actually act in retail and so if anyone remembers the actual rules they follow that would be great. Here are the rules my implementation follows so far:
- Choose a random percentage between 30 and 60 every tick (currently every second) and if myself or a friendly npc is below that percentage heal
- Prioritize self
- Healing skills have cooldowns so they cant be spammed
Now the thing with this implementation is that if a mob drops low they will for sure get healed (if the healer is left on its own) and i dont know if this is correct. Maybe i should also add a rule that like when an npc needs healing only like 80% of the time the healer will actually try to heal them. Any thoughts are welcome. Also i will upload my code once its completed, its a bit crude but it works well enough (unless like your server has hundreds of players
