any mthode fpr packing

So we can extract clients for a while now but what is about a packer does anyone knows one or is working on one. or a tool which can replace single files in the mrf? I know that ther is a packer public and i have it it was released with the source code but it seems that it doesn´t work with actual clients. is it possible to update that one case the source is public. I must say i dont know much about packers and unpackers. I´m happy about any guess how to repack actual client files.
